GÁL TIBOR Bikavér superior 2021

Harvest in full ripeness, light crush, considerate processing. A long term, 23 days of maceration in 55 hl wooden vats. Pumpover twice a day. Natural yeast. Aged in 220l and 500l Hungarian oak barrels for 11 months. (20 % new oak). Unfined and unfiltered.

The wine has a fruity and ruby colour.
The nose is full of forest fruits, wild strawberries, blackberries, sloe berries and a touch of forest floor. In the mouth, there is the feeling of warmness, soft textures and bit of bitterness. The medium-bodied palate is complex with nice drinkability and a long finish. Young – however –, it has a full tannin structure, creamy and soft aftertaste.
