The Nyulászó („Rabbit-catcher”) is one of the six historical vineyards of Mád. Not surprisingly, in this corner of the region there are some of the oldest vines, planted between the late thirties and the seventies. Among these, here are the Furmint of Balassa plants, which have their roots in a rocky substrate of rhyolite and quartz. Very low yield, equal to about 1 kilogram per hectare.
Spontaneously fermented and matured in barrels of 300 liters for 7 months. The aroma is honey, quince,
lean and refreshing, but at the same time rich and flowing. Its acids are surprisingly fresh, crunchy, leading
the sip. The sip is crystal clear, elegant, long and mineral, a real local wine. Harmony of opposites,
just like vintage.
