ST DONAT Tufa 2022

„Our new red wine is a cross-section of our Tihany areas, with the main varieties typical of the peninsula, lightly tuned and with many fruits. Similar to our MAGMA selection, it was fermented in an open tub, received only gravity sedimentation, in a wooden barrel filled for 10 months and bottled unfiltered.”

The Tufa is spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in 700 L open vats, and part of the wine was pressed after three days of maceration, part after a week of maceration, and the final part remained with the juice until fermentation was complete.

The wine is spicy, with flavors like bing cherries, raspberry coulis and black pepper on the nose. Herbs and raspberries on the palate. Unfiltered and unfined, certified organic. 50% Kékfrankos, 25% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.
