ERZSÉBET Estate Furmint 2020

Varietal Furmint sourced from four vineyards on the western part of Tokaj, using the crus Betsek, Király, Zafír, and Pécsi. It is a truly volcanic style of Furmint, combining old vines, rocky and loess soils and Furmint’s characterful salinity. Pressed in traditional vertical presses and then aged as a cuvee in Hungarian oak for 6 months. A great mix of ripe peach, juicy pear, lemon citrus and hints of tropical fruit. A long, fruity finish.

Estate Furmint 2020 from Erzsebet Pince from Hungary was awarded with a Gold Medal 2022 by a professional Jury of international experts during the Vinitaste Wine Competition that was held in Brussels in April 2022.
