Hey, why not taste a Kéknyelű? It is indigenous, and so unique, you can find it only in Hungary, and only in Badacsony wine region. This is a rare single sex grape variety that means 'Blue Stalk'. The grapes are hand-harvested from the terroir of Kőmagas vineyard on the southern slopes of Csobánc Mountain near Lake Balaton. Fermented spontaneously in oak barrels, this is a truly natural, wilde wine, has a vivid, fruity and creamy nose, with spices evidently from the oak, and a zesty, crisp palate. Notes of apple, some peaches, with an elegant, long finish.
