GERE Syrah 2021

Syrah harvested from the organically-cultivated Konkoly vineyard, aged for 16 months in Hungarian oak. Forest berry fruit, strawberry, pepper and the delicious spiciness of the barrel on the nose. Delicious acids, soft tannins, blackcurrant and black cherry aromas, while the palate is closed with the variety’s usual peppery finish. A zesty, easy-to-drink, rich and enjoyable wine, maybe at his peak, but with plenty in reserve.
