VIDA Petit Bonsai Kadarka 2020

Kadarka is the oldest historic vine variety cultivated in the Szekszárd region, a difficult and delicate grape to grow due to it’s thin skin. This is the Hungarian Pinot, I would say. Peter Vida has a natural approach without using any chemicals, rather planting flowers, grasses and herbs. ‘We try to reach harmony in the soil that we believe brings us harmony and balance to our wines too.

Soil: chalky loess with red clay

Vinification: hand harvest, manual bunch selection, cooled fermentation at 22⁰C for 10 days. Ageing in inox tanks for 12 months.

Great aperitif, chicken, veal & with indian or asian spiced food. Slightly chilled with fish and vegetable dishes.
