This is already the wine of the 'Sopron Kúria' from the limestone, slate and clay soil of the Block 4 plot in Balf. The grapes grow in Sopron, the wine ages in Etyek for a year on the lees, half of it in used and the other half in new 300-litre Hungarian oak barrels. Pure sour cherry, fresh green herbs and subtle oak. Vibrant, long and exciting.
Blackcurrant scents with a fine pepper note and toasted fresh aromas. The round palate yields juicy flavours, light spiciness. A really good potential here as well. Sloe, sour cherry, plum with medium + acidity. The oak is there undoubtedly, but the stuff is enough to deal with.
A classic kékfrankos from Sopron.
