SAUSKA Sárgamuskotály 2021

Two-thirds of it is the raw material of the organically-cultivated Medve vineyard, one-third is the crop of grape grower István Csemiczki’s plot, which is transitioning to organic. It was harvested in several batches, then vinified cold and quickly, in order to keep the aromas. It’s the fresher, cooler, more vivacious face of the dry and hot vintage that was laced with storms, mostly from a high up, cooler plot that’s surrounded by forest.

Cheerful and full of energy. Bone dry as always, successfully skipping all the bad semi-sweet accidents these “Muscat” type of wines are often getting into. Crisp and clean with vanilla, mango, and lavender in the nose, lime, and apricot on the palate.
