The "Somló's vagabond", Kis Tamás, has been working on the mountain since 2010 and is probably the most talented young winemaker. 25-year-old vines, on the Grófi parcel, where the soil is marl with basalt and tuft debris, spontaneous fermentation in barrels, aged tank. Organic culture.
Straw yellow colour, the bouquet reveals summer apple, accompanied by stone and thermal water. A remarkable, crispy acidity, beautiful minerality throughout the mouth. Long, elegant, fruity-salty palate. Round and dynamic. Great typicity.
The region of Somló is located in Northern Transdanubia, at the foot of an extinct volcano. It is the smallest AOC in Hungary.
