"From 2017, I'd put the focus on the Kékfrankos." - Enikő Luka

EnikőLuka's nicest 2017 wine from the old vines of the Steiner vineyard. The destemmed fruit was spontaneously fermented in vats and the new wine was aged for a year in Hungarian oak. Deep colours, textbook Kékfrankos aromas, substantial palate with lots of oak, a thick and rustic structure, with ripe fruit.

WINEPLUS Wine guide , March 2019

Tart, youthful and undeveloped aromas of black berries and some cherries with dried vegetal, floral to tobacco and peppery notes. Clear, tart and juicy, youthful fruit on the palate, black berries and cherries, fine, polished tannins and some bite, a hint of licorice in the background, some cocoa, herbaceous, floral and peppery notes, some strength and heat, but remains firm, still very strong young, very good, quite juicy finish. Must mature. (Very good 88 points)
